Lung nodule accompanied by pleural pulling is not necessarily malignant. The presence of pleural pulling in lung nodule needs to be considered as a result of benign lesion, or it may be pleural metastasis caused by lung cancer. 1. Benign lesions: such as inflammation and tuberculosis are benign nodules. If it is pleural infection, repeated exudation of inflammatory secretion will lead to pleural pulling and form benign lesions; if it is caused by inflammation, it can be treated with drugs such as piperacillin sodium, and if it is tuberculosis, it can be treated with drugs such as isoniazid tablets, rifampicin tablets, and so on. 2. Malignant: lung cancer is a kind of malignant disease, because malignant tumor cells grow and multiply very fast, which will affect the lungs and surrounding tissues, leading to necrosis of lung tissues and formation of nodular foci. If the malignant tumor cells metastasize to the pleura and infiltrate the pleura, it will lead to pleural pulling. Once metastasis occurs, it needs to be treated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other comprehensive therapies. Lung nodules accompanied by pleural pulling is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, after clarifying the cause of the disease, according to the doctor’s guidance for standardized treatment.
