After surgery for papillary thyroid cancer, ganoderma lucidum spore powder can be taken, but taking this drug does not necessarily improve the patient’s prognosis. Papillary thyroid cancer is a relatively common malignant tumor in clinic, and the main treatment is surgical resection. The prognosis of papillary thyroid cancer itself is relatively good, and after surgery, oral endocrine therapy with thyroxine tablets is routinely required. Oral ganoderma lucidum spore powder may improve the immunity of patients and indirectly control the growth of tumor cells, but there is no relevant research that can confirm that this drug can improve the prognosis of thyroid tumor status. Therefore, oral ganoderma lucidum spore powder is not routinely recommended for patients with papillary thyroid cancer.
