The normal value of glomerular filtration rate in 65 years old is around 60~100ml/min. Glomerular filtration rate refers to the amount of filtrate produced by both kidneys per unit of time, under normal condition, the glomerular filtration rate is 80~120ml/min. However, the value of glomerular filtration rate has a certain relationship with age, and it decreases at the rate of 1ml/min per year after 40 years old. Therefore, the glomerular filtration rate at the age of 65 is probably around 60 to 100 ml/min. Glomerular filtration rate is related to age, gender, and body weight, and men have a higher glomerular filtration rate than women by about 10 ml/min, and patients with lean body weight have a lower glomerular filtration rate than obese patients. When the glomerular filtration rate is abnormal, it is recommended to consult a regular hospital and standardize the treatment under the guidance of a physician.
