There is no absolute most effective treatment for plantar fasciitis, which is mostly treated by general treatment, medication and surgery.
1. General treatment: It is recommended to take more rest and avoid excessive running, dancing and other actions. Avoid wearing ill-fitting shoes or walking barefoot.
2. Medication: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can relieve pain, and common drugs include celecoxib, diclofenac sodium, ibuprofen and so on. Anti-spasmodic drugs can improve muscle tension, common drugs such as Eperisone. Pain is more obvious, can use glucocorticoids and local anesthesia drugs, such as prednisolone and lidocaine for local closed treatment.
3. Surgery: Surgery can be used if conservative treatment is ineffective, with ultrasound-guided fascial release surgery.
The above medications are recommended to be used under doctor’s supervision. Patients with plantar fasciitis are advised to go to the hospital in time.
