If menstruation still does not come more than 1 month after the abortion, further examination is needed. The first one is to rule out the possibility of another unwanted pregnancy. The second, to exclude the uterine cavity adhesion and cervical adhesion. Thirdly, it should be considered whether the endocrine abnormality is caused by the surgery. In this case, we can do urine test to rule out pregnancy, and ultrasound to find out whether there are any adhesions in the uterine cavity and cervix. For patients who do have uterine adhesions, hysteroscopic surgery is needed.
