How long can early gastric cancer live is mainly related to the treatment and individual patient’s condition, which should be analyzed specifically and cannot be generalized. Early stage of gastric cancer refers to tumor <2cm, which has not broken through the plasma layer, and if there is no lymphatic metastasis, the lesion can be removed through minimally invasive surgery, and the 5-year survival rate of patients is >90%. If accompanied by lymph node metastasis, the prognosis is slightly worse, with a 5-year survival rate of about 80%-85%. However, special types of tumors, such as indolent cell carcinoma, are very malignant and can have distant metastasis in early stage, and they are not sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, so patients’ survival period is usually shorter, even less than 3 years. Patients with early stage of gastric cancer should undergo surgery in time, with adjuvant treatment such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy if necessary, regular review, pay attention to light diet, and avoid pickled foods, fried foods and smoked foods.
