Early gastric cancer can be cured, and the cure rate is very high. Generally speaking, the cure rate of early gastric cancer can reach 90% or even 95% or more. However, early gastric cancer is difficult to detect and usually has no symptoms, so it can only be detected through cancer screening, usually through gastroscopy. Therefore, for some high-risk groups, we recommend regular gastroscopy and some other screening methods. The high-risk groups are as follows: 1) patients with family history of gastric cancer, i.e. patients with gastric cancer in their immediate family; 2) patients with some pre-cancerous lesions, such as patients with chronic atrophic gastritis, multiple intestinal polyps and other diseases; 3) people with bad habits, such as alcoholism and long-term consumption of smoked food; 4) patients with a history of H. pylori infection; 5) patients over the age of 40. Patients who have the previous articles and are over 40 years old are the high-risk group for gastric cancer, and these patients usually need to undergo pre-cancer screening.
