Surgery for bladder cancer usually includes partial resection of bladder tumor or total resection of bladder. If partial resection is performed, only the muscular layer at the root of the bladder tumor can be removed; if total resection is performed, besides the bladder tumor, men need to remove the prostate gland, seminal vesicles, pelvic peritoneum and so on, while women also need to remove the broad ligament, urethra and part of the vagina and so on. 1. Partial excision: some patients are not suitable or willing to take total excision surgery for bladder cancer, they can take electrolysis surgery for bladder tumor to perform partial excision, which only needs to excise the muscular layer at the root of bladder tumor. 2. Total resection: for bladder cancer which is more serious and the patient has the will, total resection of tumor can be performed. Besides bladder resection, men also need to remove prostate, seminal vesicles, pelvic peritoneum and so on, while women also need to remove broad ligament, urethra and part of vagina and so on.
