Timing of cataract surgery

In my usual work, I often hear patients say “Is my cataract ripe yet”. Therefore, cataract surgery should not wait until it is ripe, but should be performed whenever it affects work and life. Early surgery can cause less damage to the corneal endothelium, short surgery time, and fast recovery of vision after surgery, and also avoid complications such as glaucoma caused by cataract. Here is a strong appeal: the timing of cataract surgery is to operate as long as it affects work and life.
