Clonoxicam is known to suppress pain; adverse reactions such as nausea and stomach pain may occur with the use of this drug. Clonoxicam is a type of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug; the drug has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The drug is commonly used in the treatment of pain caused by surgery, trauma, neuralgia, cancer, osteoarthritis and other conditions. Adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting and bleeding from gastrointestinal ulcers may occur with the use of this drug. In the event of these adverse reactions, it is recommended to stop using the drug and consult a doctor promptly. If the symptoms are mild, they can usually be recovered after stopping the drug; if they are combined with serious adverse reactions such as bleeding, they can be treated symptomatically by using drugs such as omeprazole. The drug is contraindicated in peptic ulcer bleeding, severe hepatic and renal insufficiency, perioperative coronary artery bypass graft surgery, and severe heart failure.
