Difference Between Acetaminophen Ibuprofen

Acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol, is an antipyretic and analgesic drug with weak anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic effects, fast oral absorption and an action time of about 3-4 hours. The commonly used dose causes fewer adverse reactions, less irritation to the gastrointestinal tract, and is less likely to cause cardiovascular and other adverse reactions. Ibuprofen has its stronger anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect, its anti-inflammatory effect is more prominent than acetaminophen, the duration of action in about 2 hours. Adverse reactions are mainly gastrointestinal irritation symptoms, and occasionally allergic reactions such as skin rash. Use with caution in pregnant women, asthma, and patients with peptic ulcers and bleeding tendencies.
