Archie is short for azithromycin, a new generation of macrolides with strong antimycoplasma infections. The half-life of the drug is up to 72 hours, usually discontinued after 3 days of taking the drug, its effective blood concentration can be maintained in about 10 days, there is good bioavailability, its tissue and intracellular concentration is higher than the blood concentration, the usage is relatively simple, and the gastrointestinal reaction is slight. For patients with mild disease and low body weight, 0.5 grams can be taken orally in a single daily dose, usually for 3 days, stopping for 3 days as a course of treatment, taken orally 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Depending on the condition, and to prevent recurrence of the disease, you can apply 2-3 courses of treatment as appropriate. Severe patients can use sequential therapy, applied intravenously in the acute phase, to be normalized body temperature, the condition improved, changed to oral medication, can be extended to 4-6 weeks.
