I have done a dozen cases of recurrent pterygium this year, four patients were operated twice, and the postoperative results were very good. The most recent case was done once at the county hospital and once at a hospital in Shanghai, both of which recurred. The patient was in pain and was afraid of reoperation. Pterygium excision plus tipped conjunctival flap graft combined with concave amniotic membrane coverage, the patient recovered well. The ocular surface reconstruction was successful. The patient recovered well.
