There are two types of stoned women: 1) congenital absence or atresia of the vagina and a hypoplastic or absent uterus; 2) hymenal atresia or transverse vaginal septum, while the other female reproductive organs are well developed. Stoned women do not menstruate and cannot have sex. For women with vaginal atresia or transverse septum, this can be corrected by surgery. For vaginal agenesis, vaginal reconstruction can be performed, and for patients with a hypoplastic and absent uterus as well, there will be no reproductive function. However, stoned women have healthy ovaries that can secrete female hormones to maintain their femininity. It is recommended to go to a tertiary specialized hospital to clarify which type is available for surgical treatment through detailed examination.
