Post-traumatic infection can usually be treated by local disinfection, anti-infection treatment and surgery. 1. Local disinfection: If the wound is infected, the patient can first give local disinfection treatment, such as local disinfectant (e.g. iodophor, Neosporin solution, etc.) to disinfect. If the wound is deeper, 3% hydrogen peroxide and saline can also be used to rinse. After disinfection, regular medication changes are needed. 2. Anti-infection treatment: for local wound infection, erythromycin ointment, mupirocin ointment can be used externally; individuals with large but not serious wounds can take amoxicillin, cefaclor and other antibiotics; if the wound is large and the infection is serious, intravenous ceftriaxone sodium, levofloxacin and other antibiotics can be used. 3. Surgery: If the wound is seriously infected, with much purulent secretion or abscess formation, surgery is needed to remove necrotic and infected tissues, incise the abscess and treat it with regular dressing change and drainage of purulent secretion. If the patient has a post-traumatic infection, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for standardized treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
