Blood stasis and obstruction type vertigo is characterized by headache like pins and needles, pain with certain place, accompanied by chest tightness, palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), numbness of hands and feet, aggravated at night, etc. It can be treated with Tongjiao and Blood Activation Tang. Adverse reactions include diarrhea and is contraindicated in pregnant women. Yin deficiency and hyperactivity type vertigo is characterized by tinnitus, lumbar and knee tenderness (the feeling of lumbar and knee tenderness and weakness), five heart-heat (the heart of the hands and feet are hot, and the heart and chest are hot), accompanied by lightness of the head, dryness of the mouth and throat, and dryness of the eyes, etc., and can be treated with TIANMA Hooker’s Drink. Adverse reactions include abdominal pain, diarrhea, cold body is prohibited. The treatment of hypertension should be based on the specific situation of identification and treatment, there is no prescription that can cure hypertension.
