Yashida is the trade name for an antihypertensive drug that belongs to the angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor class of antihypertensive drugs. There are two drug names for Yashida, perindopril tablets and perindopril tert-butylamine tablets. Although the names are different, they are actually the same drug. When Yashida was first introduced to the market, the name of the drug was Perindopril Tablets, but later, in order to standardize the name of the drug, the full name of the drug was adopted, which is Perindopril tert-butylamine Tablets. There are several dosage forms of the drug under the trade name of Yashida, commonly used are 8mg x 15 tablets/box, 4mg x 30 tablets/box, 4mg x 10 tablets/box and so on. The drug is mainly used in clinical practice for cardiovascular system diseases, for the treatment of hypertension and heart failure. The regular dosage is once a day and must be taken before meals, as food may alter its activity and bioavailability.
