Amniocentesis is the most accurate compared to non-invasive DNA. Because noninvasive DNA testing is only a prenatal screening method, if there is a high risk, amniocentesis is needed as the next step and cannot be relied on alone to determine termination of pregnancy. The non-invasive DNA test checks the free DNA of the fetus in the blood of the pregnant woman, which does not come from the fetus itself, but from the placenta, therefore, there is a certain amount of false positives. Therefore, to determine if the pregnancy is terminated, the next step must be an amniocentesis, which is the fetal DNA itself and the ultimate diagnosis.
