The dislocation of the arm surgery generally after regular treatment will not leave sequelae, some patients may appear joint stiffness, poor healing of the injury, joint dislocation recurrence.
1. Joint stiffness: after dislocation surgery, due to poor healing or failure to exercise in time, causing adhesion and contracture of the joint capsule, there may be shoulder joint activity limitation.
2. Poor healing of injury: commonly seen in dislocation of the arm with joint capsule laceration, after surgery due to excessive activities or poor underlying conditions, some patients appear upper limb pain, abduction and lifting activities are limited.
3. Recurrence of joint dislocation: It is common that the joint capsule ligament injury has not completely healed or the strength is not enough, and the joint dislocation can occur again during the activities.
Patients who have undergone surgery for arm dislocation are advised to go to the hospital for regular postoperative review, and carry out functional exercises as early as possible under the guidance of the doctor to avoid adverse consequences.
