Interleukin 2 has a role in the treatment of HIV. HIV, also known as human immunodeficiency virus, when a person is infected with HIV causes damage or reduction of T-lymphocytes, which leads to the development of AIDS, which can be combined with many of its diseases. Interleukin 2-mediated immune responses are associated with a variety of diseases, and it also plays a large role in the immunopathologic process of AIDS and has a therapeutic role in HIV infection. The target cells of HIV invasion are CD4-positive T cells, and the hallmark of AIDS pathogenesis is a progressive decrease in CD4-positive T cells. CD4-positive T-cell counts can be increased with interleukin 2. So interleukin 2 can treat HIV infection. If you are diagnosed with HIV infection, it is recommended that you undergo standardized treatment as soon as possible, and choose the appropriate medication under your doctor’s guidance to actively treat the disease in order to minimize the adverse effects of the disease. All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
