Fetal hiccups are not related to hypoxia and fetal hiccups do not indicate the presence or absence of hypoxia. Fetal hypoxia can be determined by ultrasound, fetal movement count, fetal heart rate monitoring and other tests. Fetal hiccups, which are sometimes felt by pregnant women during pregnancy, are the result of fetal movement within the uterine cavity and cannot be used to determine whether fetal hypoxia is occurring. Fetal movement refers to the activity of the fetus in the uterine cavity, and pregnant women can initially assess the condition of the fetus by sensing the number and intensity of fetal movements. If frequent fetal movements are followed by a significant decrease or disappearance, it is recommended that ultrasound and fetal heart rate monitoring be used to further determine whether the fetus is suffering from hypoxia. Whether the fetus is suffering from hypoxia or not needs to be confirmed by relevant tests.
