Hepatitis myofibroblastoma, a tumor-like lesion caused by inflammatory cell infiltration and proliferation of fibrous tissue in local liver tissue caused by various inflammatory factors, is a rare occupying lesion of the liver.
Hepatitis myofibroblastoma is not a malignant tumor, but its symptoms are similar to those of malignant tumors and can cause physical discomfort. This benign tumor disease can still have a significant impact on a person’s health. Currently, the best treatment for this disease is surgical removal. The prognosis for most cases of hepatitis myofibroblastoma is relatively good. Some patients who are intolerant to surgery can be treated conservatively with radiation therapy, steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or antibiotics. In some patients, after a few months of conservative treatment, the tumor can shrink significantly and some of the discomfort caused by the tumor may be relieved.

The patient needs to be examined regularly to prevent recurrence of the tumor because of its recurrence.
