Exact location of Rangu point

The exact location of the Rangu point is below the thick rump of the navicular bone of the foot, at the red and white meatus intermedius (the junction between the heart of the foot and the dorsum of the foot). It can treat gynecological diseases, urinary and reproductive disorders. Rangu is the Xing point of the Foot Shaoyin Kidney meridian, specifically located at the junction of the red and white flesh, below the roughness of the navicular bone on the inner side of the foot. This point is used in conjunction with Taixi, Sanyinjiao and Yinlingquan to treat gynecological disorders such as irregular menstruation and vaginal itching caused by kidney yin deficiency. This point can treat spermatorrhea when paired with Ren Yu, Zhi Yu, and Ji Yu; it can also treat impotence if paired with Guan Yuan, Ren Yu, and Qu Quan. For the treatment of dysuria (dyspareunia), it can be combined with Chichibian, Shui Dao, and Bladder Yu. In addition, this point can also treat thirst, pain in the lower limbs, diarrhea and other diseases. This point can be stabbed directly, and needling should be done by a specialized practitioner.
