Does chickenpox leave a scab on your face?

Most chickenpox scabs do not leave scars; secondary infections may.
Chickenpox is a disease caused by infection with the varicella-zoster virus, which can result in a macular, papular, and blister-like rash all over the body, and is accompanied by significant itching. When the disease recovers naturally, the blisters are absorbed and the chickenpox that dries up usually does not leave scars.
In some patients, due to the obvious itching, scratching the local area is easy to damage the deeper parts of the skin, secondary infection, such will be easy to leave scars. For blisters, you can apply glycerine lotion to help localized scabs.
