The common causes and clinical manifestations of cervical lymph node enlargement are as follows: 1. Infection: such as oral ulcers, tonsillitis, head and face inflammation can cause cervical lymph node enlargement. The manifestation of lymph node enlargement, pain, smooth surface, can be pushed. With the elimination of inflammation, the lymph nodes in the neck will gradually dissipate and return to normal; 2. Tumor: it can cause enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, which is mostly due to the metastasis of other organ tumors through lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are hard, not easy to be pushed and have no tenderness. With the increasing size of lymph nodes, it can compress the surrounding skin, blood vessels and nerves, resulting in a series of symptoms. For example, compression of blood vessels in the neck can cause blood flow obstruction in the head and face, resulting in swelling of the head and face; compression of the recurrent laryngeal nerve can cause hoarseness. Treatment is mainly directed at the primary focus, through chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other means, so that the enlarged lymph nodes shrink.
