How to regulate qi and blood stasis

Qi and blood stasis can be treated by taking medicines that move qi and activate blood circulation (promoting the movement of qi so that blood can circulate), physical therapy in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), or through exercise and other means of conditioning.
1. Exercise: In Chinese medicine theory, qi is the commander of blood (qi commands the operation of blood) and promotes the operation of blood in the body, while blood is the carrier of qi, and qi and blood biochemically interact with each other to maintain the normal life activities of the human body.
The qi and blood stasis constitution usually refers to a constitution in which qi and blood do not run well. Exercise can encourage qi to run and push blood to run, so proper exercise can improve the constitution of qi and blood stasis.
2. Physical therapy in traditional Chinese medicine: acupuncture, gua sha, tuina, etc., can stimulate the parts of the body where qi and blood do not run well, and by stimulating the fixed acupuncture points, stimulate the qi running in the body, so as to regulate the qi depression and blood stasis constitution.
3. Taking medicines: There are many medicines in traditional Chinese medicine that have the effect of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis in the body), and promoting qi circulation and relieving pain (relieving pain by regulating the body’s qi), which can promote the operation of the body’s qi and channel stagnant blood, such as Hematopoietic Pills, Tongjiao Xuebao Tang and so on. Note that it is forbidden for those who are allergic to the two drugs.
If the above methods are not applied properly, they may damage the body’s positive qi and lead to aggravation of qi stagnation and blood stasis, so they need to be carried out under the guidance of professional physicians.
