Sebaceous gland acne refers to sebaceous cysts. Surgical removal can be handled basically on an outpatient basis, and the main procedures include local disinfection, anesthesia, surgical excision, and postoperative suturing.
1. Local disinfection: the area of the lesion is disinfected and the disinfection area is extended to 15 cm.
2. Anesthesia: local infiltration anesthesia can be chosen.
3. Surgical excision: a longitudinal incision is made in the skin and the cyst is separated along the edge of the cyst, or the cyst can be removed together with a skin flap.
4. Postoperative suture: after cleaning the operation area, suture the wound of the operation area and put a little pressure bandage on it.
During the postoperative recovery period, care should be taken to avoid excessive contact with water around the wound, early local application of iodine povidone to prevent infection, resulting in obvious scar formation, and standardized care under the guidance of the clinician.
