The painless and itchy bumps on eyelids may be caused by blepharocysts or cysts of sebaceous glands, which can be treated by local hot compresses, local hormone injections and surgery.
1. Blepharophalangeal cysts: also known as chalazion, is a chronic idiopathic non-suppurative inflammation of the blepharophalangeal glands, most common in patients with blepharophalangeal gland blockage, and has a self-healing properties, the patient can be through the local hot compresses, to promote the swelling to subside. If the cysts are large, patients can be treated with local glucocorticoid injections or surgical resection to promote the regression of the cysts.
2. Sebaceous cysts: Sebaceous cysts are a benign skin disease caused by the accumulation of sebum, which can be manifested as rice-like cysts on the skin, with medium hardness or elasticity to the touch, and mostly without other symptoms, and the smaller ones do not need to be treated, while the larger ones can be treated by surgery.
