How about folic acid tablets

Folic acid tablets are widely used in clinical practice and are very effective. Folic acid is an essential substance for the human body, and if it is deficient, anemia may occur, and in the early stages of pregnancy, folic acid deficiency may lead to neural tube abnormalities in the fetus. Therefore, in clinical practice, folic acid is mainly used to prevent anemia due to folic acid deficiency or to prevent neural tube abnormalities in the fetus during early pregnancy. If used to treat anemia caused by folic acid deficiency, it is usually administered 3 times a day at 5-10 mg per dose and should be discontinued only after the patient’s clinical symptoms have improved. If used to prevent fetal neural tube abnormalities, it is recommended to take 0.4mg once a day for 3 months before the start of pregnancy preparation and throughout the first 3 months of pregnancy. If you are older or at high risk of folic acid metabolism, you can take it throughout your pregnancy and the dose can be increased to 0.8mg.
