HPV 52 positivity can be transmitted to the husband through sexual intercourse. If a patient is HPV52 positive, it means that he or she has human papillomavirus type 52 infection, which can cause lesions in the cervix if the infection persists. Viral infection can cause cross infection through sexual intercourse, so if you don’t take proper defensive measures during sex, you may cause infection to your husband. It is recommended that patients who are HPV52 positive, i.e. have HPV infection, should use condoms for contraception during sex to avoid cross-infection.
