What is proctitis

  As the name implies, proctitis is mainly an inflammatory lesion involving the rectum, which is a common intestinal disease of the digestive system.  Clinically, proctitis can be divided into acute proctitis and chronic proctitis. The main causes of proctitis may be related to the following factors: First, foreign body injury in the rectum. Undigested bone fragments, wood chips, or other foreign objects with sharp corners can directly damage the rectal mucosa and cause proctitis.
