Hysteroscopy is divided into examination and surgery. If it is just a hysteroscopy, it is a very simple operation, first sterilized transvaginally, then the vagina is dilated with a cunnilingus to expose the cervix, sterilized again, after the cervix is dilated to 10 mm the hysteroscope is placed into the uterine cavity, then the examination is performed, and after the examination the hysteroscope is removed. If the whole procedure goes well, it can be done in a few minutes. The patient will experience a little discomfort when the cervix is dilated, but otherwise there will not be too much pain. In the case of hysteroscopy, it takes longer and the pain is more pronounced, so anesthesia is required.
