Are lung nodules always present?

Pulmonary nodules are mostly seen in inflammatory, allergic, tuberculosis, tumor, and bleeding diseases. Some pulmonary nodules can remain, some can fade, and some can grow gradually, depending on the nature of the nodule and the way it exists. For example, lung tumors can appear to grow gradually, and pulmonary tuberculosis can remain unchanged or can appear to progress. In the case of chronic inflammation that can persist, there are some that can subside with anti-inflammatory treatment, including bleeding and allergies, and these can be treated or can absorb and improve on their own. The next treatment plan should be determined according to the size, shape and characteristics of the nodule. Most nodules can be clinically observed and the chest CT will be reviewed after 3-6 months.
