Stiffness and soreness of the patient’s back are commonly caused by severe muscle strain, cervical spondylosis, and muscle strain, as follows: First, severe muscle strain: severe strain of the back muscles, which usually occurs in patients with heavy physical labor or strenuous exercise, the patient will have symptoms of stiffness and soreness of the back muscles, accompanied by restricted movement. Second, cervical spondylosis: severe cervical spondylosis, cervical disc herniation compresses and stimulates the nerves, thus causing long-term, continuous spasm and tension in the back muscles, accompanied by stiffness and soreness symptoms. Through MRI, cervical spine lesions can be diagnosed, and the patient will also be accompanied by neck pain and limited cervical movement. Third, muscle injury: back muscle is directly impacted, muscle edema can occur, the short-term will be manifested as back muscle stiffness, soreness symptoms, pressure symptoms are more obvious, through continuous cold compress treatment, rest, the symptoms can be gradually relieved. Patients should usually strengthen the back muscle exercise to protect the muscle and avoid injury and strain.
