  Diagnostic criteria for ADHD in children.
  1. Inattentiveness (at least 6 of the following).
  ① Often fails to pay careful attention to details, or makes inattentive errors in doing homework, work, or other activities;
  ② Often fails to maintain attention when completing tasks or playing games, and tends to start but not finish;
  ③ often appears not to be listening when others speak to him;
  ④He often fails to follow instructions and complete homework on time;
  ⑤ often loses essential items such as workbooks, books, pens, toys, etc;
  ⑥They often avoid or have a strong aversion to homework;
  (7) Easily attracted to external stimuli;
  ⑧The ability to organize tasks and activities is often impaired.
  2. Excessive activity (at least 3 of the following).
  ① Hands or feet are often unsteady or squirm while sitting;
  ② Inability to sit still in one’s seat;
  ④Running or climbing up ladders in inappropriate situations;
  ④It is difficult to participate in recreational activities quietly;
  ⑤ Showing persistent hypermobility, which cannot be significantly changed by the social environment or the demands of others.
  3. Impulsivity (with at least 1 of the following).
  ① often blurt out their answers before the questions are finished;
  (2) Cannot wait in line or in order in games or organized situations;
  ③ often interrupt or interfere with others;
  ④Often talk too much and cannot respond appropriately to social rules.
  4. All the above symptoms last for at least 6 months.
  5.Onset before 7 years old.
  6.Exclude other mental developmental disorders, such as autism.
