(1) Peripheral neuropathy Sensory disorders or abnormalities in extremities (pain, temperature, touch): numbness, pins and needles, burning, sensation of stepping, symmetrical distribution of limb pain (sock, glove-like) Motor nerve involvement: muscle tone, muscle strength, myasthenia and paralysis (2) Autonomic neuropathy Gastrointestinal disorders: gastric emptying disorders, diarrhea, constipation or both Neurogenic bladder: residual urine volume, urinary retention, urinary incontinence Impotence, menstrual disorders, low libido Postural hypotension Tachycardia or bradycardia.
