Language disorders are partially self-healing, while some patients require interventions for gradual improvement. Language disorders are disorders of normal language acquisition that occur early in development and are characterized by delays and abnormalities in the development of articulation, language comprehension, or language expression, which interfere with the child’s ability to learn and socialize. These conditions are not due to abnormalities in neurological or speech mechanisms or sensory deficits or mental retardation or environmental factors and are most prevalent in children 4-6 years of age. The common symptom is a speech disorder, which is mainly manifested in communication, an exchange of ideas, information or concepts, which can be non-verbal and can be conveyed through body language and facial expressions. The meaning and purpose of communication is accomplished. A language barrier can occur when there is a problem in any aspect of communication.
