The 5th Taishan Conference on Cerebrovascular Disease Intervention was held in Jinan on November 15-16, 2014.

During the meeting, Han Ju from the Department of Neurology of Shandong Qianfo Mountain Hospital also held the forum of the Thousand Medical Group (cooperative) Hospital and the 9th Shandong Province Neurology Interventional Salon, where experts from the cooperative hospital and more than 10 hospitals in the province exchanged their experiences and lessons learned on the difficult and complicated cases encountered in their clinical work. In the evening, he visited the ward of the Fifth Department of Neurology despite the fatigue of the journey, and discussed a patient after stenting for complex middle cerebral artery stenosis, and spoke highly of the level of neurointerventional technology in our hospital. Professor Wiesmann was impressed by the spectacular night view of the internal medicine complex and the neat, orderly and well-equipped wards. The lectures of the experts were in-depth and reflected the latest progress of international interventional treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, and strongly promoted the interventional treatment of cerebrovascular diseases in our province, which was highly evaluated by the participants. Representatives from many hospitals in Shandong Province presented their difficult and complex interventional cases and had interactive discussions with all the delegates, which broadened their thinking and improved their clinical treatment level.
