Yoga can be done for varicose veins. Yoga is a kind of exercise which is slow and suitable for any people, it can’t make varicose veins improve or aggravate the symptoms of varicose veins, so varicose veins patients can do yoga. The cause of varicose veins is because of the incompetence of the deep vein valves, the blood from the deep veins keeps flowing back into the anterior veins, forming a venous stagnation of blood with high pressure, and yoga cannot improve the function of the venous valves or reduce the degree of venous stagnation. So when doing yoga, it has no effect on the symptom relief of varicose veins.
