Talking about varicose veins

  Varicose veins of the lower extremities are a common disease, mainly in the saphenous vein, followed by the small saphenous vein.  Diagnostic points: 1, the affected limb swelling and pain, heavy feeling, easy fatigue and weakness.  2.The veins of the affected limbs are bulging, dilated and bent, and even curled into clusters.  3.Mild edema of the ankle and the front of the foot.  4.Nodular skin changes in the calf and ankle, such as skin atrophy, pigmentation, flaking, itching, eczema and ulcers.  5.Venous patency test.  6.High frequency color ultrasound or angiography of lower limb veins.  Treatment: 1.Non-surgical treatment method: Indications: (1) Early mild varicose veins.  (2) Those who are not suitable for surgery due to other serious diseases.  (3) Pregnant women.  (4) Patients with deep vein obstruction.  Methods: (1) Daytime bandaging with strong adhesive tape or strong stockings, appropriate bed rest.  (2) Injection sclerotherapy: Indications – postoperative residual drugs or recurrent varicose veins, method of injection with 5% sodium heparanate or other sclerosing agents in varicose veins, strong bandage wrapping.  (3) Surgical treatment: saphenous vein high ligation. It is suitable for those who have incompetent valves of superficial veins and traffic branch valves of lower extremities, but the deep veins are open.  2.Surgery includes: (1) High ligation of saphenous vein, cutting off all branches of saphenous vein.  (2) Extraction of the main saphenous vein.  (3) Ligation and severance of the traffic branch vein.  (4) Segmental resection of varicose veins in the lower leg. For patients with ulcers, if the ulcer is large, change the medication and clean all of them before surgery, and remove the ulcer while doing vein removal, and if necessary, implant the skin to promote the healing of the ulcer.
