Are fundic gland polyps serious?

Gastric fundic gland polyps are generally benign lesions of mild severity.
Gastric fundus gland polyp is a relatively common type of polyp pathology, if for the sporadic gastric fundus gland polyp, and the polyp is smaller, the shape is regular, generally not serious. Life need to pay attention to maintain a light diet, avoid smoking, alcohol and spicy stimulating food, regular follow-up and review of gastroscopy, if necessary, can be repeated pathology biopsy.

Adenomatous polyps also have a lower risk of cancer, and regular follow-up gastroscopy is recommended to evaluate the condition.
