The severity of acanthosis nodosa is mainly determined by the number and condition of the calcifications. A single calcification is not serious; multiple acanthosis nodosa, some of which are fuzzy and amorphous, are relatively serious and need to be taken seriously. 1. Single acanthotic calcification foci: there is no clear guidance significance, a large proportion of them are just simple calcium deposits, and only need regular review. 2. Multiple pinpoint calcified foci: partly vague and amorphous, with more than 10 calcified spots per square centimeter, is a typical manifestation of malignant lesions, which is relatively serious and requires further examination for judgment. For suspected malignant calcified foci, part of the need to do puncture biopsy for further diagnosis, to determine the specific conditions, under the guidance of clinicians for standardized treatment.
