When is the least harmful abortion

For women with normal body functions, the earlier the intrauterine pregnancy is determined, the less damage to the body is caused by performing a medical abortion, while in cases where the fetus is large and requires abortion surgery or induction of labor, the greater the damage to the body. Generally, the smaller the fetus, the less damage it will cause to the body to have an abortion. If a pregnant woman is within 49 days of menopause, she can have a medical abortion after it is determined to be an intrauterine pregnancy, which has a higher success rate and causes less harm to her body. If the menopause is more than 49 days and within 13 weeks, abortion is required. At this stage, the shorter the menopause is, the less harm to the body will be done by abortion. If the pregnancy is more than 14 weeks, abortion cannot be performed, but only mid-term induction, which is relatively more harmful to the pregnant woman. Therefore, if the menopause is more than 5 weeks, it is recommended to have an early pregnancy test in order to minimize the damage to the body by terminating the unwanted pregnancy.
