What causes gout in young people

The occurrence of gout is related to abnormal blood uric acid metabolism and other reasons. Gout can be induced in young people due to improper dietary structure, bad lifestyle habits and medications.
Gout is a metabolic disease and is easily induced when blood uric acid metabolism is abnormal. Dietary intake and body catabolism are the main ways of uric acid production, which is mainly excreted by the kidneys. Excessive production or reduced excretion of uric acid can cause elevated blood uric acid, the formation of urate crystal deposits, resulting in gout. Gout can occur in young people due to dietary structure, poor lifestyle habits or medications.
As young people prefer high purine diet, such as excessive intake of animal offal, seafood and large amounts of alcohol; or due to stress, staying up late and other bad habits, resulting in metabolic disorders in the body, endocrine function abnormalities, affecting the metabolism of blood uric acid; part of the young patients due to kidney disease, tumors, and other reasons for the need for long-term use of furosemide and other medications, but also affects the normal excretion of uric acid, triggering gout.
When young people have gout symptoms worsening or other discomforts, they should consult a doctor in time and use uric acid-lowering medication under the doctor’s guidance, avoiding self-medication.
