How to Treat Inflamed Tonsils Upper Respiratory Tract Infection

If the swelling of the pharyngeal cavity is obvious, prednisone, dexamethasone and other glucocorticoids can be used. If the patient has fever and headache, acetaminophen may be used for treatment.
