If the stool cannot come out in the advanced stage of lung cancer, you may consider injecting corky into the anus and soak it for about ten minutes and then ask the patient to defecate; if the stool still cannot come out, you may consider using soap and water enema, most of the patients can get out the stool after enema. If the patient still can’t get rid of the stool, consider having someone else wear gloves to pick out the dry stool lumps at the anal opening through anal finger diagnosis. In general, patients can drink more water and eat more vegetables and fruits that contain more fiber, and they can also routinely take oral medications such as lactulose or fructose to improve bowel movements. If the patient repeatedly has poor bowel movement, attention should also be paid to exclude intestinal obstruction caused by abdominal metastases.
