What are the symptoms of AIDS?

In the acute stage of AIDS, the main manifestations are fever, accompanied by general malaise, headache, nausea, night sweats, vomiting, etc. In the asymptomatic stage, there are no obvious symptoms; in the AIDS stage, the main manifestations are fever, diarrhea, night sweats, weight loss, enlarged lymph nodes, etc., which lasts more than one month.
In the acute stage of AIDS, usually about 2~4 weeks after infection, some infected people will have fever, general malaise, headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, enlarged lymph nodes, and most of these symptoms are mild and can be relieved after 1~3 weeks.
In the asymptomatic period of AIDS, most infected people do not have obvious symptoms, and this period can last for about 6~8 years.
When HIV-infected patients enter the AIDS period, the body’s immune function is low, secondary to a variety of opportunistic infections and malignant tumors, and thus fever, night sweats, diarrhea, weight loss, persistent enlargement of lymph nodes, respiratory distress, persistent diarrhea, and so on, which lasts more than one month, can occur.
