Dietary regimen for peptic ulcer patients

Peptic ulcer is a general term for gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer. It is a chronic gastrointestinal disease, which occurs under the corrosion of gastric acid, and is triggered by gastritis and irregular eating habits. Ulcer disease occurs in the lining of the stomach and duodenum, and is stimulated by gastric juice and chyme at all times. Therefore, patients should pay attention to the following points in the diet: 1. Reasonable diet Many ulcer patients have abdominal pain, acid reflux, warmth, fullness and other discomforts that reduce eating or partiality; so usually we should reasonably choose foods with high nutritional value and easy to digest to ensure adequate amounts of protein, calories and rich vitamins. Common foods rich in calories include thin rice, thin noodles, soft rice, etc.; common foods rich in protein include soy milk, eggs, lean meat, tofu and soy products, etc.; common foods rich in vitamins include fresh vegetables and fruits, etc. These foods can strengthen the body’s resistance, help repair damaged tissues, and promote ulcer healing. In addition, attention should be paid to avoid stimulating foods, such as broth, raw onion, raw garlic, concentrated juice, coffee, wine, strong tea, etc., as well as avoid eating fried, deep-fried, too sweet, too acidic, too salty, too hot, raw, cold, hard and other foods. Because these foods can increase the secretion of stomach acid, stimulate the ulcer surface and aggravate the disease. 2, regular diet eat regular meals, chew slowly, talk less, do not read books and newspapers, do not watch TV; keep the mind relaxed, happy spirit. In the past, it was advocated that ulcer patients should eat fewer and more meals to avoid being too full or too hungry. In recent years, it is believed that although eating can temporarily relieve pain, but eating less and more meals constantly stimulate gastric acid secretion, so that gastric acid secretion is active throughout the day, which is not conducive to ulcer healing. Therefore, except for the acute attack with bleeding and vomiting of blood, we should insist on eating three meals a day regularly. 3, according to the condition of the adjustment of diet ulcer lesions a small amount of bleeding should be taken to soy milk, rice soup, lotus root powder and other liquid food diet, to reduce the stimulation of the gastrointestinal mucosa, to be gradually changed to thin porridge, egg custard and batter and other foods, and then slowly over to a normal diet; aggravation of the condition of a large number of bleeding, pyloric obstruction and perforation of ulcer patients should be completely fasted and water, as soon as possible to go to the hospital to avoid The condition of the disease should be delayed.
