There are currently at least nine clinical stages of testicular cancer, which are of great significance in guiding treatment and estimating prognosis. At present, the staging of testicular cancer is mainly divided into three stages. Stage I refers to the tumor is confined to the testis, and tumor markers in serum, chest X-ray, abdominal and pelvic CT and lymphography are negative six weeks after tumor removal, and no tumor residue is found. Stage II refers to tumor metastasis to the retroperitoneal lymph nodes. Stage III refers to the presence of mediastinal or supraclavicular lymph nodes and distant metastases. According to different stages, different treatment methods such as surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are adopted for testicular cancer patients.
