Is there a cure for lung cancer? What are the treatment methods? Lung cancer has high incidence, high mortality rate, poor efficacy and low cure rate, so is there no cure for lung cancer? Of course not. Although the cure rate of lung cancer is very low, and its 5-year survival rate is only about 10%. But this 10% is hope. In order to further improve the cure rate of lung cancer, various treatments are constantly being used in clinical trials for this 10%. Currently, there are many different treatments for lung cancer, but there are only 3 very clear and effective treatments for lung cancer: surgical resection, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy are only effective in improving survival rates for lung cancer cases that can be surgically resected, while for advanced lung cancer cases that cannot be surgically resected, chemotherapy and radiotherapy have limited efficacy. Other such and such treatments have inaccurate efficacy and lack scientific clinical trial data to prove their efficacy. In recent years, some new treatment methods have also emerged and are undergoing clinical trials, and their efficacy has yet to be proven by long-term observation.
